Type: Flesh Plug
Material: Black PVD Coated Surgical Steel
Flare Style: Single Flare
Availability: 1.6mm - 10mm

Stretch your ears Darth Vader style! These black PVD coated 316L Surgical Steel flesh plugs are super stealthy and fresh stretch friendly. They come in all the sizes you need to stretch from your pierced lobe, right up to 10mm.

We highly recommend using these (or the tunnel version) to insert straight after you've used the taper to stretch the lobe. Steel tapers should NOT be worn as jewellery!

Everything on these plugs is smooth, accurate and most importantly 100% fresh stretch friendly. Even if you are not currently stretching up, these are an absolute classic for stretched lobes.

PVD coating, (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a process that coats a base material, in this case, 316L Surgical Steel giving a desired colour or finish - basically, it makes steel look even sicker!

- Fresh stretch friendly.

- Extremely accurate gauge size.

- Hard wearing, low friction black PVD coating.

- 316L premium grade steel.

- Complete with o-ring.

Fab little plug

I wanted something different to celebrate my half way journey. So I thought why not get a black plug. It’s fab. Fits like a dream and looks sick!! I’ve used it as a dead stretch as well, so best of both worlds 👌🏻

In another review I wrote about the surgical steel dead stretching kit, I explained that I have a sensitivity to everything except titanium and sterling silver. I hadn't had a piercing in a long while so I forgot about this and seeing the word "surgical" somehow made made me think it would be hypoallergenic, yet it was still steel! Anyway, had a bad reaction to those and decided to try these PVD coated plugs. They worked like a charm my ears took to them straight away. I've since tried to upsize with glass to see if it would work but my ears had a reaction straight away. The second a substance that I'm sensitive to enters my ears, not only do I get a reaction to it but I noticed that even trying to push it through is really hard and painful, it's like the skin rejects it the instant it touches it. My ears swoll up, started pussing out yellow goo within a day of wearing the glass ones. Usually when ears get that badly infected they recommend to go down a size and wait till the infection passed. I chanced trying to push through the same size in these PVD plugs and they just slid right in and my ears started to calm down almost instantly. They do have a mind of their own!

Long story short, these feel great, look great and I'm going to keep using PVD coated until I reach my goal size and then try out other different materials to see what works. But for now dead stretching with these seems like the safest bet. Although now I see this site also has a titanium dead stretching kit!
