Cartilage piercing jewellery for every part of the ear, from a first helix to a fully curated stack. Cartilage sits firmer than the lobe and takes far longer to heal, so the jewellery has to be right: implant grade titanium, correctly sized, and comfortable enough to leave in.
Which cartilage piercing?
Helix, forward helix, conch, daith, tragus, anti tragus, rook, snug and upper lobe piercings all sit in cartilage. Each placement takes a slightly different bar length or ring diameter, which is why we stock bar lengths from 5mm and internal diameters from 6mm.
Flat back earrings and cartilage hoop earrings
Flat back earrings are the standard for cartilage. The disc sits flush behind the ear so nothing catches on hair or pillows, and the top swaps out whenever you want a change. Cartilage hoop earrings and hinged rings are the alternative when you want a ring rather than a stud.
Sizing and materials
Most cartilage piercings are 1.2mm (16g), with some at 1mm (18g) or 1.6mm (14g). Everything here is ASTM F-136 implant grade titanium or solid 14k gold, both safe for long term wear and for piercings that are still settling.
